Music By Mattie’s vocal analyzer plugin magic.METER is currently available for free, and the offer is ending soon. This article covers the download details and an overview of the plugin.
What Is Music By Mattie magic.METER?
magic.METER is a vocal analyzer that scores your own vocal against the vocals of 3,054 hit songs and tells you what to fix first. It runs in real time inside your DAW and never alters your audio. Once it has listened to about one minute of singing, it gives you a full verdict.
Key Features
- Compares your vocal against measurement data from 3,054 hit songs (a typical hit vocal scores 90)
- Scores your vocal across seven tabs, TONE / DYNAMICS / LEVEL / RECORDING / WIDTH / SPACE / ESSES, and shows how to fix any problem and by how much
- PROCESSED mode (insert at the end of your finished vocal chain) and RAW mode (insert first on a dry recording to check the recording and the room)
- Send your beat to the sidechain to check the vocal level against the beat and which of five frequency bands the beat is masking the vocal in
- Choose the comparison genre from ALL HITS / POP / HIP-HOP / R&B / COUNTRY / LATIN / ROCK / ELECTRONIC / ALTERNATIVE / CHRISTIAN/GOSPEL; TONE also lets you pick from three eras and three voice types
