JB Project Studio’s stereo imager plugin “Auralizer” is being distributed for free!
This article introduces the distribution details and overview of Auralizer.
Be sure to check it out.
1. What is JB Project Studio “Auralizer”?
Auralizer is a free plugin that uses Hilbert Transform technology to optimize 3D spatial perception, adding deep spatial width and sonic presence to your mix. It supports a wide range of applications including mastering, mix bus, subgroups, and individual tracks, all while maintaining mathematically perfect mono compatibility. By rotating the Mid signal phase by 90° and injecting it into the Side signal, it generates a natural and deep stereo image.
Key Features
- Wide: Independent On/Off switchable control that boosts Side signal volume
- 3D Aura: Core function that uses a high-quality FIR filter via Hilbert Transform to rotate the Mid signal phase by 90° and inject it into the Side
- 3D Focus: Applies delay to the 3D Aura signal, strengthening focus and spread on the Mid signal (On/Off switchable)
- 3D Focus Standard mode: Mastering-grade precision with millisecond control of 0-3ms delay
- 3D Focus Extend mode: Extends delay up to 15ms for creative applications on synths and guitars
- High-pass / Low-pass filters: Freely define the processing range of the effect (High-pass has a 250Hz lower limit)
- Steep filter slopes: Maintains phase without using linear phase filters, achieving low latency and low CPU load
- Wet: Wet-only output usable for parallel processing or monitoring the processed signal
- Mathematically perfect mono compatibility with no “strange artifacts” by design
