2. Three-Body Technology Plugins, Including Products on Sale

Three-Body Technology mainly offers the following products.

UNMASK

UNMASK is a next-generation dynamic EQ plugin that operates based on psychoacoustics. It analyzes the input signal in real time and applies optimal correction in line with the characteristics of human hearing, clarifying detail and dramatically improving tonal balance and transparency. The plugin works across three perceptual dimensions—“spectrum (frequency),” “tone (envelope),” and “time (transient)”—and a major feature is that the dedicated modules governing each (SPEC, TILT, TIME) can be controlled intuitively with just a single “Depth” knob. The SPEC module dynamically boosts “buried sounds” that are masked by adjacent strong frequencies while taming “peaks that stick out too much,” drawing out a clearer, more well-defined sound. The TILT module naturally guides the overall tonal balance toward the gently sloping spectral envelope that human hearing prefers (-3, -4.5, -6 dB/oct), shaping a pleasant, fatigue-free balance. The TIME module detects and restores, across the full frequency range, sounds that become hard to hear due to temporal masking behind strong transients (snare tails, sustain after picking, reverb trails, and so on), revealing depth and detail that EQ and compression cannot reach.

Future MB

Future MB is a next-generation multiband dynamics processor that controls sound from both the time and frequency axes. Each band features three independent processing stages, allowing dynamics and frequency content to be controlled simultaneously and precisely.

With up to six freely positionable dynamic bands, you get flexible band design unconstrained by traditional fixed crossovers. You can process only the frequency bands you need with pinpoint precision, or build a continuous crossover network. Slopes can be selected from 6 dB/oct to 48 dB/oct, handling everything from musical blends to sharp separation.

Each band is equipped with three processing stages: Gate, Upward/Spike, and Compressor/Ducking. Beyond simply suppressing peaks, it can lift low-level components and tidy up tails, reconstructing the entire envelope.

Furthermore, with Delta Matrix technology, the amount of gain change generated in each band can be routed to other bands. It offers expansive control that lets you dynamically redesign the energy balance between bands.

Three phase modes are provided: Minimum Phase, Linear Phase, and Liquid Phase. In Liquid Phase mode, phase correction is applied dynamically only during gain changes, achieving transparent processing with zero latency and no pre-ringing.

Tape Vibe

Tape Vibe is a simply designed tape-emulation saturator that lets you easily add the analog warmth and harmonically rich saturation characteristic of vintage tape to digital recordings. It consists of just three controls—“Drive,” “Tone,” and “Thick”—so you can instantly add analog-style character to your tracks without complex parameter tweaking. It removes the hard texture that modern digital sound tends to have and naturally imparts musical harmonic distortion and a vintage feel.

It features an internal level-matching algorithm that automatically compensates for the volume change when you raise Drive, so you can accurately judge pure tonal change without being misled by loudness. It supports up to 16x oversampling, effectively eliminating aliasing distortion. With oversampling off, it operates at zero latency, making it ideal for real-time tracking and live performance. In addition, because CPU load is optimized to be extremely light, you can insert it on every track in your mix without worrying about performance impact.

Sapphire Drive

Sapphire Drive is a simply designed saturation plugin that combines transparency and musical richness, delivering natural saturation the moment you insert it on a track. It consists of only six parameters and four saturation types, so it is ready to use on any track without difficult settings. It achieves zero latency (at 1x oversampling) and extremely low CPU load, so you can stack dozens of instances across individual tracks, buses, and the master.

Four saturation types are provided: “Bloom,” which adds shimmering brilliance to the upper mids; “Tape I,” with the soft warmth and analog-like glue of tape; “Tape II,” which delivers more pushed tape grit and a vintage feel; and “Thick,” which creates heavy low-end density and presence—covering a wide range of uses from vocals to low frequencies.

Also, Sapphire Drive’s “Tone” control is notable in that it is built into the saturation circuit itself rather than being a post-process EQ. Because it changes the harmonic character itself during the distortion process, you get very natural shifts from a bright, exciting tone to a dark, warm tone. It also features level matching, up to 16x oversampling, a Dry/Wet mix for parallel processing, and input/output gain staging.

VO-TT

VO-TT (VOcal-oTT) is a multiband dynamics processor specialized for vocal processing, characterized especially by its intuitive operation and immediate effectiveness. While based on Ableton Live’s famous “OTT (Over The Top)” preset, it has been redesigned to overcome the limitations the original OTT had for vocal use.

VO-TT is divided into five vocal-dedicated bands, each equipped with a downward compressor, an upward compressor, and an expander. This lets you quickly achieve a professional, balanced vocal sound by controlling peaks, lifting weak signals, and suppressing the quietest parts that cause noise.

It has high versatility usable in any situation—from live performance to mixing to hobby singing—and is a handy plugin that works as an immediate go-to.

Cenozoix Compressor

Cenozoix Compressor is the definitive all-terrain compressor plugin that maximizes the potential of your audio projects with unrivaled sound quality and adaptability. Its 24 meticulously crafted vintage and modern compressor styles support precise customization to match your sound signature. Cenozoix is ready to redefine the landscape of compressor plugins. With Peak/RMS, feedforward/feedback customization, and odd/even harmonic control, you can define your own compressor style. It is the first compressor plugin to adopt “Anti-Derivative Anti-Aliasing (ADAA),” a technique originally used in wave shapers, successfully reducing aliasing without placing a heavy load on the CPU.

Kirchhoff-EQ

Its built-in dynamic processing is extremely flexible and characterized by very low distortion.

OwnTHD

OwnTHD is an analog-feel processor that lets you freely adjust the analog character of your mix. It provides nine classic gear simulations that fit a variety of genres. Unlike other gear-emulation plugins, OwnTHD focuses on simulating the nonlinear behavior of equipment. You can obtain the coloration of legendary units without compressing the audio.

OwnTHD also gives you greater freedom of adjustment. You can use a specific piece of gear as a base and customize it by adjusting the parameters in OwnTHD.

Cabinetron

Cabinetron is a one-of-a-kind tool that goes beyond the framework of an IR (impulse response) loader to find all the missing processes between the amp and the sound you hear.

Even when sharing the same algorithm, the sound differs from one IR loader to another. For better sound, Cabinetron is designed with a noise-shaping algorithm dedicated to IR convolution.

Heavier7Strings

Heavier7Strings is a 7-string virtual electric guitar instrument.   • Brit 73: A plugin that faithfully recreates a legendary transistor preamp and EQ, characterized by clear, brilliant sound quality. Despite its simple structure, it provides rich tone, designed so you can feel the “soul” of vintage gear digitally.
  • Brit 84: Compared to Brit 73, it adds an even wider frequency range and a High-Q mode for more precise sound shaping. While retaining Brit 73’s distinctive tone, its additional filter functions enable more varied expression.
  • Green AD: Emulates a high-quality AD/DA converter, recreating the warmth and natural tone characteristic of analog in the digital world. By reproducing the subtle tonal changes that occur when connecting analog and digital, it gets closer to a realistic sound.
  • Nylon: Features two saturation modes that add brightness and brilliance to the highs and a heavy feel to the lows. With a “Yellow mode” for highs and a “Green mode” for lows, it reinforces instrument and vocal sounds, adding depth and presence.
  • Tape M: An emulation plugin modeled on a 1970s German 2-track tape machine, characterized by warm lows and light distortion. It adds natural pressure and depth to the sound, ideal for bringing out a sense of volume in mixing and mastering.

  • US Rack: A plugin that recreates a US-style channel strip, providing rich, musical sound. Equipped with a preamp, line driver, and EQ, it improves the texture of your music with the distinctive analog warmth and rich tone.

Trinity Shaper

Trinity Shaper is a next-generation transient-shaping plugin that revolutionizes conventional dynamics processing. In addition to the usual “Attack” and “Sustain,” this plugin introduces a “Body” stage, making it possible to thoroughly control a sound’s transients. In particular, by focusing on the decay portion of a sound in the 20–50 ms range, it enables precise sound adjustment that conventional tools could not achieve.

Using multiband mode, you can adjust transients individually for different frequency bands, flexibly handling even complex mixes. It also features a variety of professional functions such as real-time waveform display, sidechain EQ, and an analog-modeling clipper that recreates analog warmth. ADAA technology (Anti-Derivative Anti-Aliasing) reduces aliasing and maintains transparent sound quality. When oversampling is disabled, zero-latency processing is also possible.

SpaceCraft

SpecCraft is a next-generation plugin that effectively suppresses unwanted resonances, enabling a balanced, clear mix. It automatically detects harsh sounds and muddiness that worsen how sounds blend and applies optimal suppression; moreover, its self-adaptive correction algorithm naturally fills in frequency ranges that tend to be lost. This lets you remove unwanted resonances while maintaining the sound’s dynamics and clarity. It also features automatic threshold control and compensation for sound character and high frequencies, achieving flexible tonal adjustment suited to any mix while preserving the transparency and definition of the sound.

Transi-Q

Transi-Q is an EQ plugin specialized in shaping sound without compromising transients (attack components), inspired by renowned classic analog EQs. Transi-Q’s greatest feature, as its name suggests, is its “fast, smooth, and punchy” sonic character. It truly shines especially with material where attack and snap are essential, such as percussion and drums, and is designed so that transient handling turns out remarkably beautiful no matter which filter type you use. While processing the sound, it retains the material’s original impact and contour—a sense of balance that is extremely valuable in real-world mixing.

The filters consist of one high-pass filter, one high-shelf filter, one low-shelf filter, and three proportional-Q bell filters. The proportional-Q bell filters work such that the more you raise the gain, the tighter the bandwidth automatically becomes, so the more you boost, the more pinpoint and targeted the shaping. This lets you precisely lift and cut only the bands you aim for—without excessively widening the band—while firmly preserving attack and definition.
