X-ValveComp
X-ValveComp is a fully equipped mono or stereo channel compressor that adds a valve emulation stage to the full set of traditional channel compressor controls. The valve emulation stage sits after the compressor in the signal path and mainly adds varying degrees of saturation and distortion to thicken and color the sound.

X-Limit
X-Limit is a highly visual maximizer with multiple characteristics and a True Peak intersample limiter, enabling precise loudness control of tracks and buses. It features multiple preset characteristics ranging from very transparent to colored and glue-like, a standards-compliant, high-precision True Peak algorithm, and useful feedback on how the limiter affects the stereo image of the signal.
The all-in-one left-to-right waveform display lets you set the limiter threshold and ceiling against the input signal and adjust the gain to catch peaks while increasing loudness.
X-Limit has four preset styles (Transparent, Glue, Punch and Auto), with the ballistics adjusted under the hood to achieve different characteristics depending on the situation. Saturation is a mix engineer’s secret weapon. Add a little to a vocal and it jumps out of the mix. Sprinkle some on a snare and it suddenly becomes crackly and full of life. On drum overheads it becomes an aggressive sound that grabs the listener’s ears. X-Saturator handles all of these tasks.
You can choose between second-order valve-style distortion and third-order transistor distortion, or blend the two for the perfect combination of tube warmth and transistor iron. X-Gate is ideal for sound design at the mixing stage. With variable look-ahead time and zero added plugin latency at the minimum setting, it is also an excellent tool for tracking sessions where mic bleed disturbs the main source.

X-Phase
X-Phase is an all-pass filter plugin that provides manual control and a high-quality response. It lets you apply a phase shift at specified frequencies in the signal. Unlike other filter types that change the gain of the selected frequencies, an all-pass filter does not change the gain of the overall signal. This is useful for fixing microphone phase problems during recording.
X-Phase can also be used to create comb filters by applying the filtered signal to an unfiltered version of the same signal. The controls are simple: the Frequency control selects the frequency at which the phase offset is applied, the Q control sets the slope of the correction curve applied to the entire signal, and the Phase Invert button flips the phase of the filter by 180 degrees.
An independent Delay section is applied to the entire signal, allowing a wider range of time alignment.

Violet EQ is Solid State Logic’s first analog EQ circuit in 25 years. Drawing on SSL’s legacy and tradition, it offers a carefully selected set of frequency points and response curves, making intuitive, musical EQ extremely easy to use, and above all, usable in the DAW.
Alongside a new FAT button that adds a subtle bump to the low end when the HPF is on, the SSL Fusion Violet EQ plugin has built-in help. Fusion Vintage Drive
The SSL Fusion Vintage Drive plugin is a digital emulation of the Vintage Drive processor of the highly acclaimed SSL Fusion stereo outboard hardware processor. Designed to produce gentle harmonic saturation and soft compression, as if driving vintage hardware into its analog sweet spot, it is an essential tool for adding an organic analog feel to tracks, groups, mixes and masters.

Fusion HF Compressor
The SSL Fusion HF Compressor plugin emulates the high-frequency smoothing circuit of the SSL Fusion stereo outboard hardware processor.
This compressor acts only on frequencies above the crossover, achieving a distinctive rounded high end. Ratio, attack and release are all optimized for maximum transparency, and the smooth compression and tape-like high-frequency roll-off help suppress unwanted harshness that accumulates in mixes and individual stems.
In addition to the features of the original hardware, the plugin introduces MIX and AUTO GAIN controls, letting you set the perfect amount of HF smoothing and apply automatic makeup gain to the compressed frequencies. Combined with the gain reduction graph, meter and feedback from the original hardware’s circuit-activity LED, you can quickly dial in harshness.

Fusion Stereo Image
The SSL Fusion Stereo Image plugin is modeled on the mid-side processing circuit of the SSL Fusion stereo outboard hardware processor.
This analog circuit uses a technique that separates the stereo signal into two channels: the sum (L+R) of the center sound (M) and the difference signal (L-R) of the left/right sound (S). The WIDTH control lets you narrow or widen the stereo image. The SPACE circuit is a frequency-dependent width control based on the concept of Stereo Shuffling, and can inject an interesting depth effect into the mix.
SSL Fusion Stereo Image adds a brand-new SHUFFLE control for changing the frequency cutoff of the SPACE circuit, a built-in polar-sample vectorscope for insight into the signal’s stereo field, and a SOLO SIDE function for easily auditioning the stereo field of the signal.

Fusion Transformer
The SSL Fusion Transformer plugin emulates the switchable SSL transformer circuit of the Fusion. The 600Ω, 1:1 turns underdamped transformer gives the signal a subtle weight as a result of the LF saturation and frequency phase shift caused by driving the circuit, introducing low-end thickness and high-end sheen.
Use SHINE to reinforce or remove the HF phase and EQ effect, and raise AMOUNT to amplify harmonic distortion. Both controls can be used to amplify the effect beyond the original circuit. The MIX control blends with the original signal to dial in the perfect amount of transformer mojo.
LF EXTEND bypasses the dynamic LF roll-off (the natural low-end roll-off that occurs when driving the transformer circuit) to further increase the “power” of the low end.
