X-ValveComp
X-ValveComp is a fully equipped mono or stereo channel compressor that adds a vacuum-tube emulation stage to a full set of conventional channel-compressor controls. The tube-emulation stage sits after the compressor in the signal path and mainly adds saturation and distortion to varying degrees, thickening and coloring the sound.
The compressor can switch between PEAK and RMS modes and features a full set of controls including Threshold, Ratio, Knee, Attack, Release and Hold.

X-Limit
X-Limit is a highly visual maximizer featuring multiple characteristics and a True Peak inter-sample limiter for precise loudness control on tracks and buses. It offers multiple set characteristics ranging from extremely transparent to colored and glue, a standards-compliant high-precision True Peak algorithm, and useful feedback about the limiter’s impact on the signal’s stereo image.
An all-in-one left-to-right waveform display lets you set the limiter’s threshold and ceiling against the input signal, and adjust gain to increase loudness while catching peaks.
X-Limit has four preset styles — Transparent, Glue, Punch and Auto — with ballistics adjusted under the hood to achieve different characteristics depending on the situation. Saturation is a mix engineer’s secret weapon. Add a little to vocals and they jump out of the mix. Sprinkle a touch on a snare and it suddenly becomes crackly and full of life. Apply it to drum overheads for an aggressive sound that grabs the listener’s ears. X-Saturator handles all of these tasks.
You can choose from 2nd-order valve-style distortion and 3rd-order transistor distortion, and even blend the two for the perfect combination of tube warmth and transistor iron. X-Gate offers unique controls that extend sound sculpting, letting you focus the gate on unwanted sound using an intuitive sidechain filter interface and mid/side balance options, leaving the processed signal natural or affected as you like. Visual feedback including a hardware-inspired traffic-light system lets you instantly check the gate’s current state, while the rolling waveform visualization graph intuitively displays the incoming signal so you can set the open/close thresholds.
X-Gate is not only ideal for sound design at the mixing stage; with variable lookahead time and zero added plugin latency at minimum settings, it is also the perfect tool for tracking scenes where mic bleed disturbs the main source.

X-Phase
X-Phase is an all-pass filter plugin offering manual control and high-quality response. It can apply a phase shift at a specified frequency in the signal. Unlike other filter types where the gain of the selected frequency changes, an all-pass filter does not change the overall gain of the signal. This is useful for correcting microphone phase problems during recording.
X-Phase can also be used to create a comb filter by applying the filtered signal to an unfiltered version of the same signal. X-Phase’s controls are simple: the Frequency control selects the frequency at which the phase offset is applied, the Q control sets the slope of the correction curve applied across the signal, and the Phase Invert button flips the filter’s phase by 180 degrees.
An independent Delay section is applied across the signal for broader time alignment of the signal.

Violet EQ is Solid State Logic’s first analog EQ circuit in 25 years. Drawing on SSL’s heritage and tradition, it offers a carefully selected set of frequency points and response curves, making intuitive, musical EQ extremely easy to use — and, above all, usable in a DAW.
Alongside a new FAT button that adds a subtle bump to the low end when the HPF is engaged, the SSL Fusion Violet EQ plugin also has built-in help. Fusion Vintage Drive
The SSL Fusion Vintage Drive plugin is a digital emulation of the Vintage Drive processor of SSL Fusion, the highly acclaimed SSL stereo outboard hardware processor. Designed to produce the gentle harmonic saturation and soft compression of driving vintage hardware into its analog sweet spot, the SSL Fusion Vintage Drive plugin is essential for adding organic analog feel to tracks, groups, mixes and masters.

Fusion HF Compressor
The SSL Fusion HF Compressor plugin emulates the high-frequency smoothing circuit of the SSL Fusion stereo outboard hardware processor.
This compressor acts only on frequencies above the crossover, delivering a distinctive rounded high-frequency sound. The ratio, attack and release are all optimized to maximize transparency, and the smooth compression and tape-like high-frequency roll-off help suppress unwanted harshness that builds up in a mix or individual stems.
In addition to the original hardware’s functions, the SSL Fusion HF Compressor plugin introduces MIX and AUTO GAIN controls, letting you set the perfect amount of HF smoothing and apply automatic makeup gain to the compressed frequencies. Combined with feedback from the gain-reduction graph, meters and the original hardware’s circuit-activity LED, you can quickly adjust harshness.

Fusion Stereo Image
The SSL Fusion Stereo Image plugin is modeled on the mid-side processing circuit of the SSL Fusion stereo outboard hardware processor.
This analog circuit uses a technique that separates the stereo signal into two channels: the sum (L+R) of the center sound (M) and the difference signal (L-R) of the left/right sound (S), letting you narrow or widen the stereo image with the WIDTH control. The SPACE circuit is a frequency-dependent width control based on the concept of Stereo Shuffling, capable of injecting an interesting depth effect into the mix.
SSL Fusion Stereo Image includes an all-new SHUFFLE control for changing the frequency cutoff of the SPACE circuit, insight into the signal’s stereo field via a built-in polar sample vectorscope, and easy auditioning of the signal’s stereo field via the SOLO SIDE function.

Fusion Transformer
The SSL Fusion Transformer plugin emulates the switchable SSL transformer circuit of Fusion. The 600Ω, 1:1-wound under-damped transformer gives the signal a subtle weight as a result of the LF saturation and frequency phase shift introduced by driving the circuit, adding low-end thickness and high-end sheen.
Use SHINE to reinforce or remove the HF phase and EQ effect, and raising AMOUNT amplifies harmonic distortion. Both controls can be used to amplify the effect beyond the original circuit. The MIX control lets you blend with the original signal to dial in the perfect amount of transformer mojo.
