With the flexibility to recreate the character of famous units in one — punchy VCA-style, thick tube-style, vintage opto-style — it handles a wide range of uses from tracks to buses. Because it is integrated into the Virtual Mix Rack, it is also easy to build a mixing chain combining it with other modules.
SD-PE1
SD-PE1 is a digital plugin based on a legendary passive EQ that has been a studio staple since the 1960s. It faithfully recreates the analog-specific smooth, musical curves and distinctive behavior, while greatly increasing flexibility with digital-only extensions. Featuring a distinctive design whose feel differs from a typical EQ, it is ideal when you want to add natural thickness and presence to a sound.
It also has a switchable tube-amp stage that compensates for the output loss inherent to passive EQs, letting you freely choose whether to add saturation and coloration. The frequency points are expanded beyond the original unit, and fine adjustment is possible in both stepped and continuously variable modes. It suits a wide range of material — drums, bass, vocals, mix bus — making it easy to use the character of a historic analog unit in your DAW.
Stellar Echo SD-201
Stellar Echo SD-201 is an analog tape-delay-style plugin that recreates the distinctive wobble and warmth of classic tape echo in a modern production environment. Its subtle pitch fluctuation and timing wow — absent from digital delays — make the echo change naturally as it blends into the mix, creating a three-dimensional space. Push the feedback and you get a distinctive effect with tape-derived saturation; adjust tape speed for dreamy pitch-shift expression. Combining vintage texture with modern sound-design capability, it gives depth and character to a track.
In addition to the original spring reverb, you can apply multiple reverbs — plate, chamber, hall — to the delay signal, greatly expanding spatial design. It also offers fine control impossible on hardware, such as Wow & Flutter adjustment, noise switching and dry-signal level. It also features an “Original” mode that faithfully recreates the real unit, and a “Custom” mode that lets you add tape heads and adjust placement and stereo balance — covering everything from classic recreation to bold sound-making.
Chorus D Bundle
Chorus D Bundle is a modulation-effect bundle containing two chorus modules — “SD-D Chorus” and “Custom D Chorus” — inspired by a classic 1979 chorus unit. They produce rich, wide sound, adding depth and dimension to give a track an impressive sense of space and movement.
SD-D Chorus faithfully recreates the texture of the original hardware, characterized by warm sound and subtle, natural wobble. Custom D Chorus, designed as an extended version, offers detailed control including hidden parameters for more freedom in sound design.
The bundle can transform a mono signal into immersive stereo sound, and it can add depth, space and texture without excessive pitch modulation. Fusing vintage character with modern usability, it is a chorus effect that brings rich width and presence to a wide range of productions.

It automatically detects problematic sibilant frequencies and properly suppresses them within the mix without complex adjustments. Balancing powerful processing with intuitive operation, it is designed to be easy for everyone from beginners to pros.
It also offers many presets for different uses, handling not only vocals but also sibilance and harsh high-frequency components in percussion, drum overheads and various other sources.
The interface features real-time displays, letting you visually check the spectral analysis of detected sibilance and exactly what processing is being applied. Combining advanced frequency analysis with ease of use, it delivers efficient, high-quality sibilance processing.
Virtual Tube Collection
Virtual Tube Collection is a set of saturation/preamp plugins for the Virtual Mix Rack that recreate the sound of classic vintage tube circuits. Each module can be used as a preamp, a saturator, or even a virtual tube summing console, adding warmth, thickness and analog-specific texture to tracks and mixes.
The collection includes three modules with different characters. London has a thick, warm sound rich in low and low-mid frequencies; New York offers a punchy tone with midrange presence and tight lows; Hollywood is a colorful sound with air, depth and powerful lows. By switching between preamp and console modes, you can use it across single tracks, mix bus and mastering, adding analog-gear depth and presence to digital sources.
Virtual Preamp Collection
Virtual Preamp Collection is an analog-modeling plugin that recreates the sound of vintage mic preamps representative of the audio industry. The latest modeling technology recreates the circuit characteristics down to the details, enabling tone-making from a touch of coloration to heavy saturation and distortion. It adds analog-specific texture and presence to clean recordings and mixes.
The collection includes two units: the FG-73, modeled on a British discrete solid-state preamp, and the FG-76, modeled on a German vintage tube preamp. FG-73 has a thick, warm sound; FG-76 is characterized by a thick, colorful tone and distinctive low-end saturation. Both add analog-style character to vocals, instruments and entire mixes. You can control from subtle coloration to bold drive as needed — a preamp collection that adds rich analog feel to tracks and mixes.
Virtual Buss Compressors
Virtual Buss Compressors is a plugin suite containing three dynamics processors modeled on classic mix-bus compressors long used in the audio industry. Beyond circuit characteristics such as transformer, tube, VCA and amp, it finely recreates analog-specific non-linear behavior including phase distortion, harmonic distortion and timing characteristics. Each compressor has a different character, suited to gluing the overall mix together or shaping texture. Used on the mix bus, it adds cohesion and analog-style texture, leading to a professional finish.
Virtual Console Collection
Virtual Console Collection is a plugin collection aimed at bringing a DAW mixer closer to the sound characteristics of real large-format analog mixing consoles. By adding analog-console depth, imaging and harmonic texture to the in-DAW mix environment, tracks blend naturally with each other across the frequency spectrum, producing a more musical, cohesive mix.
The collection includes two plugins: “Virtual Channel” inserted on individual tracks, and “Virtual Mixbuss” inserted on the master fader. It recreates analog-console behavior including the interaction between channel circuits and the summing bus. This means it can recreate complex behavior in the DAW, including the trait of analog desks where the sound changes depending on how many channels are used.
It also includes six analog console models based on classic British and American inline recording consoles, letting you freely choose the mix’s character. As you push up the DAW faders, you can even get a mixing experience of finding each console’s “sweet spot.”
Furthermore, you can create up to eight control groups to operate multiple tracks together, so you can easily switch console models applied to multiple channels, or bypass by group for A/B comparison. This lets you efficiently adjust the texture of the whole mix and supports a smoother mixing workflow.
Murda Melodies
Murda Melodies is a multi-effect plugin that integrates eight effects — modulation, reverb, synced delay, reverse and more — into one to radically transform tracks. With over 50 presets co-created by producer Murda and Slate’s sound designers, you can start pro-quality sound-making right away. It handles a wide range of uses, from extreme sound design to subtle texture-adding.
The eight core effect knobs interact with one another, letting you build complex, dynamic sonic landscapes you could not produce individually. It also has a built-in pitch shifter spanning up to four octaves for easy, dramatic pitch changes. The “Pitch Jitter” feature, ideal for lo-fi beats and experimental sound, adds non-linear artifacts on purpose to create a distinctive cranky texture. You can freely adjust the balance between original and processed pitch, allowing delicate sound control too.

Running on the Virtual Mix Rack (VMR) framework, it consolidates eight staple modules needed for mixing — from vintage EQs to modern compressors and limiters — into a single rack. The included modules cover ready-to-use processing: the smooth-textured opto compressor FG-2A, The Monster for adding rough punch to drums and buses, Revival to instantly add air and low-end thickness, FG-A with a vintage American-console EQ curve, FD-DS 902 to naturally suppress harsh bands in vocals, and Trimmer to manage gain staging. It also includes presets by Grammy-winning engineers, so even beginners can quickly get close to a professional sound. Because you can save and recall signal chains for vocals, drums and bass, it balances workflow consistency and speed — an ideal entry package into the VMR ecosystem.
Custom Series Bundle
Custom Series Bundle is a hybrid EQ bundle that consolidates the best characteristics of more than a dozen classic analog EQs into one. In development, Slate Digital thoroughly studied multiple famous analog EQs and extracted the best traits of each. Each band is inspired by a different vintage EQ, with boost/cut behavior individually designed per band. Each band has an analog-modeled output stage that produces rich, musical harmonics. The bundle also includes “Custom Series Lift,” a boost-only parallel filter, where High Lift adds natural air and Low Lift adds low-end weight. With a “Present/Silky” button for high-frequency front/back feel and a “Big/Punchy” button to switch low-end transient and character, it achieves free EQ curves unbound by analog-circuit limits — the definitive hybrid EQ for freely controlling clarity, air and low-end thickness.
Custom Opto
Custom Opto is a customizable compressor module that modernizes the classic opto compressor. While inheriting the smooth texture of a traditional optical compressor, it has a modern design that lets you freely adjust timing (Speed) and ratio (Ratio). Notable is its four tone modes — “Airy” to open the highs, “Smooth” to tame harsh bands, “Aggro” to add snap and punch, and “Warm” to add vintage thickness — switchable instantly. Running within the Virtual Mix Rack and combined with other VMR modules such as EQs and saturators, you can build a powerful mix-ready signal chain in seconds. An evolved classic opto with a modern, muscular sound, suited to a wide range of uses from vocals, drums and instruments to the mix bus.
FG-116 Blue Series FET Compressors
FG-116 Blue Series FET Compressors is a four-model FET compressor module that faithfully recreates the rarest, most valuable vintage “Rev A” blue FET limiting amplifier. It includes two vintage circuits and two modern circuits. Vintage circuit 1 has the famous “mid-forward” character, adding warm presence to vocals, bass, drums and guitar. Vintage circuit 2 models a refurbished “Rev A” unit, with bigger lows and smooth upper mids, ideal for drum room mics and vocals that need presence. Modern circuit 1 has a slower attack, effective for bringing out snare punch or making bass edgy. Modern circuit 2 has breezy, punchy lows and smooth highs, handling drum buses and full mixes. With Mix-control parallel compression and a high-pass filter that excludes the lows to control only dynamics, it is a versatile FET compressor that lets you use both vintage and modern textures as the mix demands.
FG-36A
FG-36A is a two-knob, simple-operation exciter module that faithfully emulates a legendary 1960s vintage exciter. It brings the shimmer and sparkle of the original modified vintage exciter unit into the Virtual Mix Rack, instantly adding gloss and presence to the highs with just two knobs (Intensity and Output). With operation as simple as setting the amount of effect with Intensity and the output level with Output, it adds a distinctive vintage color to vocals, instruments and full mixes. Integrated into the Virtual Mix Rack, it can build a signal chain combined with other VMR modules, delivering instant results without complex settings. Recommended for any creator who wants the texture of a famous exciter with ease.
FG-Bomber
FG-Bomber is an analog-modeling dynamic impact enhancer that adds impact and depth to tracks and mixes. It uses a highly complex, fully analog-modeled circuit path combining harmonic generator, compressor, saturator and filters, creating front-to-back depth as if instruments are “pushed” forward from the speakers, and achieving translation that holds up even on small speakers. Operation uses three simple knobs: Drive sets the input amount into the effect (the point where the VU swings around the bomb icon is where impact is felt most), Intensity sets the blend ratio of dry and effect signal, and Tone selects from three characters — “Present,” “Fat” and “Tight.” Powerful enough to replace multiple processing chains on its own, it completes dynamics processing, tone shaping and transient emphasis in a single module — an enhancer that instantly breathes life into a mix.
FG-Dynamics
FG-Dynamics is a dynamics-processor module that faithfully emulates a legendary solid-state console compressor and gate. It fully recreates in the DAW the warmth, coloration and responsiveness unique to the VCA dynamics of a famous analog hardware used on countless hit songs. Its biggest feature is automatic make-up-gain adjustment: every time you change a compression setting, the output level is automatically compensated, so you can focus on comparing even the slightest changes in character. It also has instant parallel compression via the Mix knob and an independent gate/expander section, handling both precise dynamics control and flexible sound-making. It also includes a wealth of expert-supervised presets that anyone from beginner to veteran can use immediately. Combined with EQs and saturators inside the Virtual Mix Rack, you can build a tight, mix-ready signal chain in seconds — the definitive VCA-dynamics module.
FG-Stress
FG-Stress is a versatile compressor module that faithfully recreates the industry-leading analog compressor “Empirical Labs Distressor” in digital. It faithfully models even the Distressor’s distinctive topology, in which “each ratio effectively operates as a different compressor,” fully recreating the design where entirely different circuit characters are drawn out per ratio rather than a simple ratio change. This lets one unit emulate the tones of various beloved famous units — punchy VCA compressors, thick tube compressors, vintage opto units and more. Because it is integrated into the Virtual Mix Rack, you can also build a flexible mixing chain combining it with other VMR modules — the definitive versatile compressor that brings hardware-like versatility and character to the DAW.
Gates Bundle
Gates Bundle is a VMR-dedicated gate bundle containing two gate modules for everything from noise removal to creative sound-making. The included “Gate: Classic” is a traditional gate with threshold, ratio, range, attack, release and slope, ideal for removing background noise from guitar, vocal and acoustic material. Its “Classic” mode uses standard signal-level-based detection, while “Vocal” mode features internal filtering that detects the natural breath of vocals plus timing circuitry for smooth gate opening/closing, and also includes a high-precision side-chain filter. The other module, “Gate: Drums,” has an innovative design triggered by transients (attack components) rather than volume, with a three-section structure of transient detection, gate and Debleed (dynamic filtering of the tail). This lets you separate transient and tail to apply different processing, or remove bleed from drum tracks with extreme precision — a new standard for noise gates that achieves surgical precision impossible with conventional gates.
SD-3A
SD-3A is a compressor module that fuses program-dependent fast response with a hybrid opto x solid-state design. It instantly gives a tight, focused, musical texture to any source — vocals, guitar, drums and more. Its program-dependent design (where response characteristics change according to the input signal) delivers natural, musical compression without agonizing over settings, letting you shape dynamics without stopping your workflow. Its mid-forward tonal character instantly adds punch, energy and movement to a track, finishing it without an over-processed feel. With a switchable HF/Flat side-chain filter and built-in Mix control (for parallel compression), it is a ready-to-use compressor active in a wide range of situations, from delicate smoothing to aggressive character-adding.
SD-PE1
SD-PE1 is a program-equalizer module that modernizes and extends a classic passive EQ beloved since the 1960s. While faithfully recreating in digital the legendary passive-EQ hardware with its distinctive behavior, it also packs unique features only possible in a digital emulation. Its biggest feature is a switchable tube-amp stage that compensates for the signal attenuation inherent to passive EQs, letting you process while maintaining output level even when removing tube saturation and coloration. Furthermore, the frequency selection — limited on the original hardware — is greatly expanded, with additional frequencies on each band and fine adjustment in both stepped and incremental modes — a spec you could call a “paradise for the tweak-loving tech head.” Handling a wide range of material from drums, bass and vocals to the mix bus, it brings historic analog processing power and color to the DAW — a new famous-unit emulation EQ added to the Virtual Mix Rack.
Transient Shaper
Transient Shaper is a next-generation transient-shaper module that enables precise transient shaping with per-frequency-band focus control. Its biggest feature is the unique Focus slider, which lets you pinpoint a specific frequency range to apply transient shaping, and holding Shift while operating also enables band-pass processing. Beyond simply emphasizing or reducing attack, it achieves frequency-selective shaping such as “emphasize attack only in the lows” or “suppress transients only in the mids.” It also has a Warmth knob to add saturation to the transient portion, a Time knob to adjust the length of the targeted transient, and a Listen button to monitor transient and tail separately — a full set of deeper tone-shaping tools. Integrated into the Virtual Mix Rack ecosystem, it shows its true value in creative sound shaping such as drums, percussion and acoustic-instrument sound-making and sample blending — an extremely flexible tool.
Eiosis Air & Earth EQ
Eiosis Air & Earth EQ is an EQ module with air and earth filters that distills the core features of the highly rated Eiosis AirEQ for the Virtual Mix Rack. It consists of two independent modules — Air (highs) and Earth (lows) — each with its own resonant filter (HiCut for Air, LoCut for Earth). The Air filter is a new type of filter design that naturally adds and restores brightness and brilliance to a signal without adding any harsh components or digital unnaturalness. It is ideal for letting vocals breathe or adding subtle sparkle to the whole mix. The Earth filter, inspired by the behavior of real transformers, adds deep, heavy sub-lows to kick and bass, and is also active for sub-bass processing in post-production. The HiCut/LoCut filters have switchable slopes from 6dB to 36dB/oct, and the Q control lets you boost near the cutoff frequency (e.g., emphasizing a kick with LoCut) while naturally rolling off outside it — a flexible design. From delicate brilliance to heavy low-end power, it is a highly practical EQ module that shapes sound freely with musical clarity.
FG-X 2
FG-X 2 is a next-generation mastering plugin by Slate Digital that achieves overwhelming loudness and a clear sound image while preserving the punch and transients of a mix. It is built around two powerful modules, “FG-Comp” and “FG-Level.” FG-Comp is a transparent compressor that naturally glues dynamics together without harming the mix’s original punch and transients, while FG-Level is a processing engine with an algorithm that intelligently analyzes the input signal’s frequency response and applies an optimal blend of saturation and limiting.
The limiter has four modes with different characters, letting you instantly switch — from extremely transparent limiting without pumping to loud, aggressive processing with seductive saturation — to match the direction of the song. Once the sound is set, just turn the Gain knob to finish a master with streaming-ready loudness.
The UI offers two modes, “Easy view” and “Advanced view.” Easy view narrows things to the most important controls on a simple screen for quick, loud results, while switching to Advanced view opens up all the detailed parameters for seasoned mastering engineers — M/S Link, GR Width, side-chain filter, LoPunch, Detail, Transients, Drive, Balance and more. It also includes the metering tools needed for loudness management to streaming specs — LUFS, RMS, Peak, Timegraph, Histogram, VU meter and more — letting you push toward the target range while checking visually.
Submerge
Submerge is an advanced auto-sidechain plugin by Slate Digital that lets you intuitively create the ducking/pumping effect characteristic of EDM and hip-hop without tedious routing. With conventional sidechain compression you had to set up routing in the DAW using another track as a trigger source, but Submerge is designed so that just inserting it on a track instantly creates that rhythmic, sidechain-specific pumping sound.
It has three trigger modes: “Auto Trigger” that auto-syncs to the project tempo, “MIDI Trigger” that ducks at any timing via MIDI notes, and the conventional “Audio Trigger” that uses an external audio signal as the sidechain input — handling everything from simple beat-syncing to complex rhythmic patterns. It also has three categories of control curves: “Natural,” mimicking a standard compressor; “Extreme,” an over-compression style that races between max and min; and “Special,” which anticipates the downbeat or creates sine-wave-like oscillation — switchable freely from natural to extreme effects.
Its biggest feature is the eight onboard effects that go beyond mere gain reduction. With high/low-shelf EQ, resonant high/low-pass filters, sample-rate reduction, and Gain M/S that ducks mid and side independently, the three knobs Morph, Depth and Tweak boldly transform the timbre, covering filter sweeps, stereo imaging and even sound-design uses in one unit.
In addition, holding Shift while selecting a curve inverts it, switching to “Pusher” mode that ducks at all times except the trigger. It also has an A/B feature to switch between two sets of settings (A and B) with one click. It generates the movement and groove essential to modern electronic music production — EDM, house, trap, hip-hop and more — with professional quality and minimal operation; truly an indispensable sidechain tool for the modern producer.
Rotary SD-147
Rotary SD-147 is a Slate Digital plugin that precisely models a rotary speaker cabinet that has supported countless landmark records for half a century — down to the two rotating rotors, cabinet reflections, tube amp, crossover, saturation, mechanical noise, and the physical behavior of acceleration and deceleration. It faithfully recreates that distinctive swirl and dimensionality that has colored every classic organ track, from “Tomorrow Never Knows” and “Little Wing” to “Black Hole Sun.”
Its true value lies in enabling operations a real cabinet never could. You can fully silence the motor noise, eliminate mic crosstalk, stop the rotor at any precise angle, change the cabinet size, sync the rotation to the project tempo, and more — free sound-making beyond the laws of physics. All parameters can be automated in the DAW, and by mapping the speed switch to a MIDI controller you can perform it live as if handling the real unit on stage.
As for mics, it lets you control not just mic selection but “mic placement.” It has ten built-in mic models derived from the “ML-1A Virtual Microphone System,” covering both horn and baffle (no separate VMS purchase needed), and the stereo horn mic pair lets you independently adjust distance, offset and angle width. Starting from three horn presets (90°, 180°, mono) and two baffle placements, you can freely move the mics anywhere around the cabinet. Turn Mic Bleed off and each mic captures only its assigned rotor, achieving complete separation recording impossible on the real unit.
