1. What Is Pizza Bagel Plugins “Schmear”?
Schmear is a vocal widener plugin that adds stereo width to vocals using just three fixed settings: 3, 6, and 9 cents. No end date for the giveaway has been announced, so we recommend grabbing it as soon as possible.
Key Features
- Three detune settings to choose from: 3, 6, and 9 cents (3 cents gives a subtle shimmer, 6 cents gives a clear doubling effect, and 9 cents delivers maximum width)
- Adds stereo width using two modulation delays that pitch-shift in opposite directions
- Designed to hold up when summed to mono, with minimal phase issues and a solid center
- Zero latency
- Input/Output trim (±12 dB) and a large bagel-shaped knob for Dry/Wet control
- A/B comparison, 40-step undo, preset browser, resizable UI, MIDI learn, and automation support
2. How to Install and Activate Schmear
Complete the $0 checkout on the official Pizza Bagel Plugins page, then create an account from the email you receive to download and install the plugin. Online activation is required at launch; if you stay logged in, you can activate immediately with your license.
