What Is WA Production “Mutant Delay”?
Mutant Delay is a host-syncable delay plugin with a built-in ducker. Without setting up complex sidechain routing, it reacts directly to your dry (source) signal and automatically ducks the wet delay tail, pulling the delay back while vocals or leads are playing so your mix stays clear. You can apply wide, feedback-heavy echoes while keeping the sound from getting muddy when the performance comes back in, which makes it useful for processing vocals, lead synths, and percussion.

- Built-in compressor-style ducker that reacts directly to the dry signal to duck the delay (adjustable via Threshold / Ratio / Attack / Hold / Release)
- Host-syncable delay with independent delay times for the left and right channels (1/1 to 1/16, with straight, triplet, and dotted note values)
- In addition to a feedback dial, a ping-pong routing that cross-mixes the left and right feedback
