1. What is WA Production “Mutant Delay”?
Mutant Delay is a host-sync-capable delay plugin with a built-in ducker. Without having to set up complex sidechain routing, it reacts directly to the dry (original) signal and automatically ducks the wet delay sound, pulling the delay back while vocals or leads are playing to keep the mix clear. You can apply a spacious echo that makes heavy use of feedback while adjusting things so the sound doesn’t become muddy when the performance returns, making it useful for processing vocals, lead synths, and percussion.
