MTurboFilter is a filter plugin by MeldaProduction that brings together nine analog filter models inspired by famous vintage synthesizers and a modular algorithm designer that lets you engineer filters entirely from scratch. You can instantly dial in classic hardware character just by picking a preset model such as Fat, Liquid, or Brutal – or combine modules to build a completely original filter of your own. A modulation matrix sits directly below the five main controls, letting you bring your filters to life with powerful LFOs and an envelope follower that tracks the incoming signal.
How It Differs from Typical Filter Plugins
Most filter plugins are about using pre-built filters. MTurboFilter’s biggest strength is that it plays two roles at once: a library of vintage filters and a filter design tool. You can pick one of the nine legendary-hardware-style models and use it right away, or build the filter structure itself from the ground up using text-based scripting.

- Overdrive – Every model can be overdriven, emulating hardware-style distortion and its unique interaction with the resonance.
- Feedback control – A dedicated feedback control recreates the classic trick of routing the headphone output back into the input. It covers everything from subtle thickening to screaming distortion.
Design Your Own Filters with the Algorithm Designer
The other side of MTurboFilter is a fully customizable designer that lets you build filter topologies from scratch.
