What is Vengeance Sound “VPS Avenger 2”?
VPS (Vengeance Producer Suite) Avenger 2 is a software synthesizer developed by Vengeance Sound.
Main features include:
- Wavetable
- Classic virtual analog
- Freeform and oscillator shape that allows waveform customization
- Granular
- Long samples and drums
It has a total of 10 types of oscillators, 47 types of filters, and 34 types of effects, allowing a wide range of sound creation with many parameters. If mastered, it can be said to be a versatile software synth. Additionally, it has a reputation for good sound quality. However, be aware that mastering all features can be somewhat challenging.
Many expansion packs are also available for purchase, allowing you not only to add presets but also oscillators, which is recommended.
It can be used as a VST2, VST3, AU (Audio Unit), AAX plugin for DAWs.
Installation and Activation Method
Avenger once had a rather complicated authorization process, but it has become much simpler. The process is completed in 5 STEPS.
STEP 1. User Registration
First, register on https://register.vps-avenger.com/login.
From the left Register, fill in:
- Name: Your Name
- E-Mail Address: Your Email
- Password / Confirm Password: Password ×2
to complete the registration.
If you already have an account, log in through Login using your email address and password.
STEP 2. Add Product Using Product Code (Serial Number)
After logging in, enter the product code under Add New Product and select Look up.
The product code is the code (serial number) you receive from the sales site where you purchased the license.
Note: In case of an upgrade, select VPS Avenger on the left and enter the product code in enter upgrade code.
STEP 3. Download and Install V-Manager and VPS Avenger
Download and install V-Manager and VPS Avenger from https://register.vps-avenger.com/details.
STEP 4. Launch V-Manager and Download Keyfile and Factory Content
Launch V-Manager, log in, select Download Keyfile in the top right, and complete the activation.
Then click Factory Content to download it.
Factory Content can be set from the top Content Location.
If you upgraded to Avenger 2, right-click and select Redownload to get presets compatible with Avenger 2.
STEP 5. Launch Avenger in DAW and Log In
Launch Avenger in your DAW and log in with your Vengeance Sound account to complete the process.
* Setting Factory Content
If Factory Content is not found, it may display MISSING FACTORY LIBRARY! If this appears, select Next then Select content file… to choose the downloaded Factory Content. Finally, set the folder to save and select START. Even if it seems there is no response when pressing the final START button, please wait a moment. After a bit, an orange loading meter will appear at the bottom of the window.
