Soundbox – Instrument Platform
Soundbox is Audiomodern’s all-in-one, MPE-capable sampler / virtual instrument platform. The Soundbox engine itself is distributed for free, and you load separately sold paid Soundbox instruments (sample-based sound libraries) to play them.
Audiomodern’s own paid instruments include the cinematic guitar Opacity, the contemporary abstract strings Kromium, and Cosmo (“Keys and Beyond”). Purchasing any license key unlocks the bundled Sample & Mapping editor, letting you create, export, and share your own virtual instruments from your samples. Third-party Soundbox libraries can also be loaded.

Loopmix – Instrument Plugin
Loopmix is a creative loop remixer that loads up to six audio loops and generates “endless loop remixes” using sequencing, rearrangement, reverse, density, volume, and pitch. It ships with 1.6GB+ of factory presets (audio material), so it makes sound on its own. You can of course load your own loops, and it generates remixes using Zynaptiq’s ZTX(R) time-stretch / pitch-shift technology.

Playbeat 4 – Instrument Plugin (Drums, MIDI Output Supported)
Playbeat 4 is an “AI-Powered Drum Designer” built around AI-algorithm drum pattern generation and genre-based randomization. It ships with a factory library of 1,500 kits (drum samples), so you can build complete drum tracks with Playbeat 4 alone. It also supports MIDI output, so you can send generated rhythms to external drum instruments or hardware.

Riffer – MIDI Sequencer
Riffer is a “smart MIDI sequencer” that auto-generates musical riffs / sequences by combining pitch, duration, velocity, and density. Riffer makes no sound on its own – you send the generated MIDI to a software instrument or hardware synth to play it (in other words, a MIDI generator you pair with the sound source of your choice). First released in 2015, it is one of Audiomodern’s flagship plugins, which the company positions as “the most feature-rich generative MIDI sequencer, loved by over 35,000 users.”

Chordjam is a “creative compositional assistant” that generates chord / progression patterns using intuitive, user-guided randomization. Chordjam also has no built-in sound source; you send the generated chord MIDI to another instrument / hardware to play it. It instantly produces variations that are “unpredictable yet always musical.”

Completely rebuilt from the previous version, it introduces a new randomization algorithm, preset management, and a filter section, plus new MIDI FX versions for Logic Pro and iPad. It also supports MIDI output, so you can use gate patterns as parameter modulators for other plugins.
