What Is KarmaStation KarmaKick?
KarmaKick synthesizes kick drums from scratch without using samples. Send it a MIDI note and it plays a kick, and three knobs let you shape the pitch drop (the “punch”), where the pitch falls from a start value to an end value over a set time.
Key Features
- PITCH: Start / End / Decay set where the pitch begins to fall, where it lands, and how fast it drops
- AMP: Decay sets the length of the tail
- TONE: Drive adds saturation and body, while Click adds attack snap
- OUTPUT: Level, plus a compressor called “Boost” that tightens and boosts the overall sound
- WAVEFORM: four types – Sine, Triangle, FM and Warp
