1. What is Warmth.dev “Touched Lite”?
Touched Lite is a completely free audio effects plugin provided by Warmth.dev as the Lite version of the paid “Touched”. With a two-stage configuration of fuzz and reverb, it packages the entire shoegaze sound into one plugin.
Main Features
- Big Muff-inspired fuzz (classic shoegaze tone with dual-stage diode clipping, oversampling, gentle mid-cut, and tight low end)
- Two reverb modes: Soft Focus and Reverse
- Soft Focus: a dense, dreamy, enveloping wash inspired by the “Soft Focus” patch of the Yamaha FX500. Features compression, EQ shaping, cross-channel delay, and a 3-voice chorus on the reverb tail
- Reverse: a psychedelic and ethereal effect where multiple delay taps play back with rising gain, making the sound swell as if reversed. Best used at 100% wet
- Amount knob controls the character and density of the reverb, Mix blends wet/dry
- True bypass on each stage
- Equipped with Mix knob and Output Gain knob
2. How to Install / Download Touched Lite
On the official Gumroad page, you can easily download it with just your email address by entering 0 as the price. Move the downloaded plugin files to a folder that your DAW can read.
