Eli & Flo’s dual-band panning plugin “HiPan” is being given away for free!
In this article, we’ll cover the distribution details and an overview of HiPan.
1. What Is Eli & Flo “HiPan”?
HiPan is a dual-band panning utility plugin that lets you pan the high and low frequencies independently. Instead of moving the entire signal left and right, you can quickly do things like keep the lows centered while moving only the highs — without having to set up multiband routing. It’s especially useful on material where you want to keep the low end locked to the center, such as 808s, bass, and synths.
Key Features
- Pan the high and low bands independently
- Adjustable crossover frequency
- Stereo Spread (adjust the stereo width)
- Low Mono mode (locks the low end to mono for stability)
- Solo monitoring to check the state of each band
- Very light CPU load
2. How to Download and Install HiPan
You can download it for free from the itch.io product page. On Windows, copy the included VST3 file into your standard VST3 folder; on macOS, run the included installer package.
