What Is Loopcloud 8?
Loopcloud 8 is a subscription sample service run by Loopmasters that lets you use samples commercially in your own music without worrying about copyright. You can search and preview samples, edit them, export them to your DAW and manage your library.
Samples work on a points system: a fixed number of points is granted every month (every year for annual plans), and you spend them to buy samples. One-shots cost 1 point and loops usually cost 2 points. Before buying, you can play a sample in your DAW at your own song’s tempo and key or process it in the editor, so you can audition it thoroughly before buying (spending points). Its biggest appeal is that purchased samples stay yours even after you cancel the subscription, and unused points do not expire.
Version 8, released in October 2026, adds “Inspire,” which builds the foundation of a song just by choosing a genre; “Listen,” which listens to the song playing in your DAW and suggests matching samples; natural-language search; and an iOS app.

How to Sign Up and Use the Coupon
This section walks through signing up for Loopcloud and using the coupon. It takes the following three steps.
- Choose a plan
- Create an account or log in
- Enter your billing details, payment method and coupon code
STEP 1. Choose a Plan
On the pricing page, choose Monthly or Annual, then select Start Trial (Select … for annual) for the plan you want.
Note: choose Annual if you want to use a coupon that is limited to annual plans.
STEP 2. Create an Account or Log In
If you do not have an account, set an email address and password to create one.
Note: if you already have a Loopmasters account, you can log in with it as is.
STEP 3. Enter Billing Details, Payment Method and Coupon Code
Enter your billing information and payment method.
If you have a coupon, enter the coupon code in Promo Code at the bottom of the checkout page and select Apply Code to apply the discount.
Finally, select Start Now to complete your registration.
When you sign up, a temporary charge of £1 / $1 / €1 is made to verify your payment method; it is canceled right after your subscription starts.
After that, download the installer from the download page and install it. The installer includes Loopcloud itself, the DAW sync plugin, Listen, Sounds, DRUM and PLAY.
