Orchestral Bass Slides is a free sound library for Crow Hill Vaults, featuring a collection of epic bass slides recorded in a grand orchestral hall, provided by composer Christian Henson from his own private collection. In typical orchestral FX libraries, effects tend to be treated as “extras,” and when it’s time to use them, you often have no choice but to rely on stock sounds that appear in every other library. To address this issue, this library includes a wide selection of carefully chosen bass slides, and uniquely for a Vaults product, comes with a dedicated effect macro that lets you switch between slide types while playing. Henson recorded the material with the intent of capturing “super-long slides so you don’t have to rely on time-stretching,” so the content includes material long enough to be used as-is for feature parts of a track where you want the slide to sustain.
