Melody Flip is a composition assistant plugin that generates four parts at once – melody, chords, bass and drums – based on your own audio material or on more than 250 built-in “palettes”. When you load a track, a loop or a song idea into Melody Flip, its algorithms analyze the material and detect the song structure, tempo, beat positions, key, chord progression, genre and mood, then recommend palettes that suit the musical character of your material. Rather than copying the melody of your song, Melody Flip offers a starting point for discovering new directions. It was developed through a collaboration between Roland and Sony Computer Science Laboratories (Sony CSL).

Roland Cloud Manager 3.1.23 or later is required, so updating to the latest version of Roland Cloud Manager is recommended to ensure compatibility. It can be downloaded on every membership level, including the free Roland Cloud membership. Launch Roland Cloud Manager, sign in, and install Melody Flip from My Library.
