Splice INSTRUMENT is a free sample-based instrument plugin that lets you bring high-quality multi-sampled sounds into any DAW. It covers a wide range of tones, from rare pianos to legendary synths, and comes with hundreds of free presets. Sounds from Spitfire Audio’s “LABS” and “LABS+” have also been integrated into the plugin, which now features a new interface, enhanced browsing, and access to individual presets.

2am Drum Loops (drums) is a set of glitchy, industrial drum presets that capture the space between garage, ambient electronica, and modern club music. It’s excerpted from the commercial “Near Dark Garage” pack.
Pastel Dusk Pad (synth) is a lush, ’80s-inspired pad preset that captures the warmth and color of an era that defined electronic music, suited to everything from cinematic soundtracks to modern pop and dance music.
Unpitched Ensemble is a preset built from the textures of gamelan, Indonesia’s traditional ensemble music, featuring the metallic, shimmering resonance of its bronze percussion instruments.
2. How to Download and Install
Download and install the free “Splice INSTRUMENT,” then launch it as a standalone app or as a plugin inside your DAW. Once it’s open, select and download presets from the “Free Drops” section, marked with a droplet icon. Any preset you grab during its drop period stays yours to use permanently.
