1. What Is W. A. Production “Presser”?
Presser is a creative compressor plugin normally priced at $29.90, developed in collaboration with producer and YouTuber Aiden Kenway. On top of standard compressor parameters such as Ratio, Threshold, Attack, Release and Makeup, it packs three character controls: GLUE, PUNCH and HEAT. GLUE continuously morphs the behaviour of the detector and the processor: at 0% it acts as a fast peak compressor that tames transients, while at 100% it delivers the smooth response of a classic bus compressor. PUNCH accentuates transients via an internal dynamic EQ, and HEAT adds analog-style saturation before and after the compressor.
Ratio is adjustable from 1:1 to ∞:1, Attack from 1 to 100 ms, Release from 10 to 1,000 ms, and Makeup Gain within a ±12 dB range. It also features a MIX knob for parallel compression, a limiter on the output, CHANNEL LINK to set how much the stereo channels are linked, a high-pass filter for the detector, and an external sidechain input that can be blended steplessly from 0% to 100%.
