What Is Scaler Music “Scaler Detector”?
Scaler Detector is a standalone app and VST/AU/AAX plugin that detects the key of the music you play. It can detect the key, scale and chords from a whole song, a single polyphonic audio track, or MIDI data. It has the same key and scale detection as the songwriting plugin “Scaler 3,” and you can even play chords that fit the detected scale with a single finger on a MIDI keyboard.

How to Install and Activate Scaler Detector
Scaler Detector uses a Redeem Code obtained from Plugin Boutique. You register the product to your Scaler Music account, then enter a license key when you launch it to activate. Follow the steps below.
- Check out from the product page: add the product to your cart at $0 on the Plugin Boutique product page and complete checkout (you need to be logged in to your Plugin Boutique account)
- Get your Redeem Code: after checkout, find the Redeem Code for Scaler Detector in your Plugin Boutique My Library
- Create a Scaler Music account: create a new account on the Scaler Music official website (if you already have one, you can use it as is)
- Enter the Redeem Code to register the product: enter the Redeem Code from step 2 in your Scaler Music account to register Scaler Detector. After registering, download the installer from your account
- Install: double-click the macOS or Windows installer and follow the on-screen instructions
- Activate: launch Scaler Detector and enter your license key to activate
